Welcome to Jess Alb's
Epic EIPC Page!
A Word from Jess Alb:Welcome to my epic EIPC page! I am so glad that you have decided to use this website as a resource while we embark upon this journey of creating district and site GATE plans, and revise the current Intervention programs around the district this year. There is definitely a lot of work to do this year, but together, we can accomplish our goals of ensuring that "every student learning every day" is more than just a motto, and is a way of life in TTUSD. So, let's talk about student progress.
What is an EIPC, and what does an EIPC do?Tahoe Truckee Unified School District added the new position of Extensions and Interventions Programs Coordinator (EIPC) in 2013. This position is a TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) position that was created with the intent of offering sites more, and specialized, support in offering high-quality learning experiences to all students, and in ensuring that our schools and district remain in compliance with both the state and federal government.
The EIPC has four central focal points: 1. Accelerated learning (i.e.: GATE, Advanced Placement, accelerated learning programs, extensions, etc.). 2. Interventions (i.e.: RtI2 and intervention programs, the push for grade level literacy, etc.). 3. Title I (i.e.: federal reporting and compliance requirements for Title I districts and sites). 4. Compliance (i.e.: state and federal compliance requirements that are stipulations of categorical funding). |
